Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA)

ICAP's Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program offers eligible tax filers in our service area the opportunity to meet with volunteers trained by the IRS to process their returns. Eligibility is based on a household income of less than $54,000. All assistance provided is confidential and each participant receives copies of their return for record-keeping purposes.

This program is a partnership between ICAP and Dakota State University. Funding is provided through the Internal Revenue Service's VITA Program, United Way and other local supporters.
