Bright Futures is a Rapid Rehousing Program for homeless families with children who have the desire and ability to increase their financial self-sufficiency through employment. This program follows a housing first model, eliminating most barriers to move into safe housing as quickly as possible.
Eligible families must commit to case management services and work with a Housing Stabilization Coach to create a housing stabilization plan to identify their housing needs and resources available to maintain those needs. The goal for each participant is to enter into and maintain permanent housing by increasing their financial self-sufficiency. Participants can also receive assistance with a security deposit and, if needed a rent/damage guarantee with a participating landlord. Participants can receive up to 24 months of rental assistance based on their individual progress.
