ICAP is proud to introduce its new Radon Program, focused on promoting healthier and safer homes across our communities. Radon is a naturally occurring, odorless, and invisible gas that can enter homes through cracks and openings in the foundation. It is the second leading cause of lung cancer in the United States, making testing an important step in protecting your health.
Because radon cannot be seen or smelled, the only way to know if it is present at elevated levels is through testing. ICAP offers professional radon testing to help identify potential risks. If high levels are detected, mitigation services are available to reduce radon concentrations and improve indoor air quality.
This program is designed to raise awareness, encourage testing, and support safer living environments for individuals and families throughout our service area.
