Home-ownership Education Program

Many families face serious challenges in becoming homeowners. ICAP's Homeownership Education Program (HEP) consists of two components to help those family groups. The Homebuyer Education (HBE) component offers education and counseling to families who want to purchase a home but don't have all the skills and knowledge to do so successfully. HBE is approved by HERO (the Homeownership Education Resource Organization) program, which assures that the agency delivers high-quality services. ICAP's Homeowner Education program is certified by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

Home Buyer Education is only available in Kingsbury, Lake, McCook, Miner and Moody Counties.
